Dr. Ashok Chopra was an Indian physician who served in the Indian Army, and the father of actress Priyanka Chopra and her younger brother Siddharth Chopra. His family came from Ambala in Haryana. He married fellow Army physician Dr. Madhu Chopra, and because both parents served in the military, the family moved between postings across India while their children were growing up. He was a steady supporter of his daughter's career from her Miss World win in 2000 onwards, and she has often spoken of his influence on her. He died in Mumbai on 10 June 2013. He was the uncle of actress Parineeti Chopra.

She later practised as a doctor in civilian life and managed much of her daughter's early career. In 2015 she co-founded the production company Purple Pebble Pictures with Priyanka, which focuses on regional Indian cinema and produced the Marathi film Ventilator (2016). She is the mother-in-law of singer Nick Jonas.

Actress Parineeti Chopra is her first cousin, but she is not related to the Yash Chopra or B.R. Chopra film family.

Kevin Jonas is an American musician, actor and businessman, born on 5 November 1987 in Teaneck, New Jersey, the eldest son of Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas. He is the lead guitarist of the Jonas Brothers, which he formed with his younger brothers Joe and Nick, and he starred with them in the Disney Channel film Camp Rock and the series Jonas. During the band's hiatus after 2013 he worked in business and property development, before rejoining his brothers for the group's 2019 reunion. He married Danielle Deleasa in 2009, and the couple starred in the reality series Married to Jonas.

He returned to the Jonas Brothers for their 2019 reunion and number one single Sucker. He is the brother-in-law of Priyanka Chopra.

Nick Jonas is an American singer, songwriter and actor, born on 16 September 1992 in Dallas, Texas, the third son of Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas. Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, he performed on Broadway as a child and formed the Jonas Brothers with his older brothers Kevin and Joe, becoming famous through Disney Channel and the film Camp Rock. As a solo artist he had hits with Jealous and Chains, and the reunited Jonas Brothers reached number one in 2019 with Sucker. His acting work includes Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Midway, and he was a coach on The Voice. He married actress Priyanka Chopra in December 2018.

Frankie Jonas is an American actor and musician, born on 28 September 2000, the youngest of the four sons of Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas. Often called the bonus Jonas while his older brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick toured as the Jonas Brothers, he appeared as a child in the Disney Channel series Jonas and provided the voice of Sosuke in the English-language version of the animated film Ponyo. As an adult he has worked as a musician and content creator, releasing music of his own. He is the brother-in-law of actress Priyanka Chopra through his brother Nick's marriage.

Siddharth Chopra is the younger brother of actress Priyanka Chopra and the son of Indian Army physicians Dr. Ashok Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra. Born in the late 1980s, he grew up in a family that moved between military postings in India, and he has largely stayed out of the entertainment industry in which his sister and his cousin Parineeti Chopra made their names. He appears publicly mainly at family occasions, including his sister's 2018 wedding to Nick Jonas in Jodhpur, which made him the brother-in-law of the Jonas Brothers' youngest member.

Danielle Jonas, born Danielle Deleasa, is an American television personality and former hairdresser from New Jersey. She met Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the Jonas Brothers, in 2007 and the couple married in December 2009. Their early married life was the subject of the E! reality series Married to Jonas, which followed the couple in 2012 and 2013, and she later appeared in the Jonas Brothers documentary Chasing Happiness. Through her marriage she is the daughter-in-law of Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas and the sister-in-law of Joe, Nick and Frankie Jonas and of actress Priyanka Chopra.
